The Fennek is a reconnaissance vehicle of Dutch origin. The Fennek was developed as a private venture by SP Aerospace in the early 1990's. In the late 1990's it turned into a joint Dutch/German program. The German firm KMW continued the development and is currently marketing the Fennek 2.
Project 636 Varshavyanka is a class of diesel-electric attack submarines of Russian origin. In the West these ships are known as the "Improved Kilo class". The name Varshavyanka refers to the Warsaw pact. This class was initially developed for export to Warsaw Pact nations. After the fall of the Soviet Union the final stages of the development were financed by China, which is the major export customer for this class.
The PTS-2 is a late Cold War era amphibious cargo vehicle of Soviet origin. It is a further development of the PTS-M and is based around the newer MT-T tracked chassis. The PTS-2 is a more capable vehicle that is better suited to salt water operations, albeit in calm weather. Although most source indicate a start of production in 1985, these could have been in service as much as a decade earlier.
The 2K8 Falanga is an early Cold War era anti-tank guided missile of Soviet origin. The Falanga is notable for being the first Soviet anti-tank guided missile to be launched from helicopters. Due to the complexity and expensive design Falanga was not as widely adopted and exported than planned during the design phase. The NATO reporting name is "AT-2 Swatter".
