The RPG-32 Barkas is a rocket launcher of Russian origin. It was developed in the mid 2000's at the request of and in cooperation with Jordan.
The RPG-32 uses a short reusable launch tube. The launcher is fitted with optics, fire controls and a carrying handle. Disposable canisters pre-loaded with a rocket are attached to the rear of the launcher. Four types of missiles are available, which are derived from RPG-26 and RPG-27 munitions.
The RPG-32 uses 105mm or 72mm rockets derived from the RPG-27 and RPG-26 respectively. The 105mm tandem HEAT warhead is capable of piercing 650 mm homogenous steel armor. The effective range is 200 meters. In both calibers the rockets are available in a thermobaric variant.
The RPG-32 has been adopted by Jordan and and is in production in Jordan since 2013. It is expected many nations in the Middle East will adopt it in the near future.
The PG-32V 105mm warhead was derived from the RPG-27 disposable rocket launcher.
The TBG-32V 105mm thermobaric warhead was derived from the RShG-1 design.
