Very large and distinctive fire control radar. Has the capacity to track six targets simultaneously which are engaged using two missiles each. Target acquisition is carried out using the ship's main 3D air search radar.
Single stage missile with solid propellant rocket motor. Uses radio command guidance towards target area. Switches to track via missile radar homing as guidance mode in terminal phase.
Eight missiles are ready to launch per rotary launcher. The missile transport and launch cannisters are suspended below deck. The missiles use a cold start method, being ejected using a gas generator before the rocket motor ignites mid air.
