The Mark 13 GMLS is fitted on the bow. This single arm launcher has a below deck magazine for 40 missiles. Usual mix of missiles was 36x Standard SM-1MR and 4x RGM-84 Harpoon.
The Standard SM-1 Medium Range was the main air defense of the Oliver Hazard Perry. The RIM-66B and RIM-66E missiles were launched from the Mark 13 GMLS.
Harpoon sea skimming subsonic anti-ship missiles could be launched from the Mark 13 GMLS.
A 76mm Mk 75 dual purpose gun is located on top of the central superstructure.
A single 20mm Phalanx close-in weapon system is mounted on top of the hangar.
Two 3-tube Mark 32 launchers mounted amidships for use with Mk 46 lightweight torpedoes. A total of 24 torpedoes can be carried, including for use by the ship's helicopter.
Spanish-built variant of the Oliver Hazard Perry class. Six ships in class. Built with slightly larger beam and displacement. Fitted with several different subsystems such as the Meroka CIWS and different electronic warfare suite.
