BTR-40A

The BTR-152A is the counterpart to the BTR-40A. Both vehicles use the ZTPU-2 turret.

ZPU-2

The BTR-152A has the same firepower as the ZPU-2 towed anti-aircraft gun.

The ZTPU-2 gun mount is quite different from the ZPU-2 and is not merely a ZPU-2 planted in the rear compartment of a BTR-152.
