Original production model. Fitted with bipod and quick change barrel for use as a fire support weapon. Produced in a ZK-383P version for the police without bipod or quick change barrel.

ZK-383-H

Post-WW2 simplified production model as a regular sub machine gun for export sales. Fitted with a thinner regular fixed barrel with simplified barrel shroud. The magazine feeds vertically and the magazine well can rotate to store the magazine under the barrel to make the weapon more compact.
