Description

The CV 9040 TriAD is a self-propelled anti-aicraft gun of Swedish origin. In Swedish service it is known as the Luftvärnskanonvagn 90 (Lvkv 90). The TriAD is based on the CV 9040 mechanized infantry combat vehicle, and looks rather similar. The enlarged turret features the PS-95 radar system in a large cylindrical housing. The high elevation 40mm Bofors L/70 autocannon uses programmable ammunition. The TriAD cannot fire on the move. The TriAD is in use only with Sweden.
