Introduction

The KrAZ-260 is a tactical truck of Soviet origin. It was developed by KrAZ in the 1970's as a replacement for the KrAZ-255 series of tactical trucks. For many years both types were produced side by side. The KrAZ-260 features a turbocharged engine and new cabin design. Despite the differences 8 out of 10 parts are interchangeable. Both KrAZ-255 and KrAZ-260 were replaced on the production line by the KrAZ-6322.
