The M247 Sgt York was to replace the M163, providing more accurate and longer range anti-aircraft and anti-helicopter fire.
The ZSU-23-4 is an earlier Soviet design that spurred US development of a radar-direct anti-aircraft gun.
Contemporary German design. The Dutch turret variant was even one of the competitor's entries for the DIVAD requirement.
